Our Laminate flooring is one of the most popular floor surfaces in the world and Krono flooring is one of the global market leaders.

Krono Laminate flooring is manufactured exclusively with domestic and sustainably managed forestry wood. This is guaranteed by the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council).

Laminate is fundamentally composed of several layers. All layers are permanently bonded with resin, heat and pressure.

Highly stable balancing layer

A watertight layer protects the core board from moisture to guarantee better structural stability and serves as a moisture barrier

High density core board for better resistance

High density fiberboard (HDF) to provide exceptional structural strength, high resistance and stability.

Premium decorative layer

To allow a wide variety of very detailed designs and beautiful colours and patterns.

Highly resistant protective surface

The uppermost laminate layer consists of an overlay to protect against wear and tear and a design layer, which depending on the production process is made from one or several layers. The surface coating is composed of a special synthetic resin-treated cellulose to give the floor a tough, durable surface.
